Email providers....Which is the best and why. I wanna get the hell away from Gmail..

I am wanting to get away from gmail. I cant stand how they invade my privacy....Please any suggestions.

I use proton mail personally for anything that I don't want anyone to know about. They don't log IP (doesn't much matter given most people use VPNs now anyways) and more importantly they are based in Switzerland, so our government has no power to force them to share/give emails. The paid part of it has some really nice features, like automated replies and such.

so, how is gmail invading your privacy?
i've used them for my personal email for about 1 yr and no problems - even my spam emails are down.

i really like that gmail doesnt show ads. and i havent noticed anything unusual or tracking related showing up in google search/image/map queries.
