JJ in Corpus

Stopped by JJ Massage (Everhart) mid-afternoon today for the first time in a while. All locked up with an official city pink document taped to the door with a check mark in the box that said “stop business” (or something very similar, anyway). So they’ve been shut down again. Third time in the past 5 or so years. I know AMPS are like lizards’ tails, but wondering if they’ll manage to come back after a third whammy.

Right you are, and some good ones on that list, unfortunately. A couple of them, though, did reopen under a new name and ownership — Asian Massage and Beijing Spa. In fact, Beijing is now Rui’s Serenity Spa as of several years ago (a vast improvement!).

Crazy!! I was gonna stop in there on Wednesday night. The open sign was lit. But got nervous cause a group of guys were fixing a truck in the parking lot.

Was always one of the most visibly indiscreet amps in town. Don’t blame you for being nervous; I would’ve bailed just like you did.

I'm surprised it lasted this long this go around. why can't this shit just be legal?
