How do you block seeing someone's posts?

If I see another Treetop post......I swear to god! How do I make those disappear from my view?

I don't use block (yes even SL and Whispers and Treetop) I have chosen to just not open threads that have been started by certain individuals. Because I know they will be too long to read or I will not want to respond. Another words not really a topic I am would be interested in, namely attaching others or none hobby related. But if you do ignore you may miss one that might be worth seeing. Just maybe.
