When your name is the same...

I can imagine that issues come up all the time when it comes to having the same name as another provider.

When I chose my name, I had never even heard the name Jaycee before, personally, professionally, or otherwise.

I chose it for personal reasons, as it truly did represent a part of who I was.

By now I know, I'm not the only Jaycee, (or variations thereof... JC, Jaycie, JaCee, JayCee, Jacie, JayC...).

My identical "name twin" and I, also share a city.

So what can I do to help alleviate any potential confusion?

Should I change my name all together, or modify it in some way?

What are the potential downsides to a name change/modification?

Any advice or suggestions is greatly appreciated.

I think as long as your screen handle is distinctive and your reputation strong you shouldn't have a problem. "Angel" is by no means unique, but though I've been using it since I started stripping 13 years ago I've never been confused with anybody.

Just a side note, if you've never heard the name, perhaps you should read Larry McMurtry's novel, The Last Picture Show. But then you'd have to spell it Jacy.

Well, on Survivor, they went with Kelly B and Purple Kelly, so I'd suggest adding purple to your name.

And everyone wonders why we cant reviews assigned to the correct lady!

This is the reason that back in 2001 when we started B&B's and then The Wildflower Group that we gave each lady a first and last name to give them their own identity.

just google the name you like, plus the word escort and see what comes up.
