Electric Flag, Blood, Sweat, and Tears (but only with Al Kooper), Big Brother and the Holding Company (best band Janis ever had, only now becoming appreciated), John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers (he discovered everybody), Paul Butterfield Blues Band (with Mike Bloomfield and Elvin Bishop!)

Saw Debbie Harry and Blondie attempting a comeback, pathetic.

I'm a big fan of rock bands from the 70's and 80's, especially Blue Oyster Cult (I have one of their songs as my ringtone). I also really like Genesis, mainly because my Dad's a big fan so I heard a lot of their songs growing up.

Other faves were the Smashing Pumpkins, Collective Soul (saw them at Impaxx), Offspring (saw them at whatever that club was next to the Airport Driving Range -- it was "He & She's" when I was 18... then Sinbad's and a bunch of other names).
Did anyone here see U2 at the After Dark??
