Special counsel Jack Smith expected to wind down Trump prosecutions

The whole purpose of these legal issues was to prevent Trump from running and winning again. Now that he's won, there's no point.

I would LOVE to see the new DOJ go after Jack Smith and YANK his law license.

Elections have consequences.

I suppose this fits the definition of insanity, where one keeps doing the same exact thing over and over and expecting a different outcome.

And now this...

Judge in Trump’s ‘hush money’ trial considers tossing felony conviction after election win

They know they're going to get fcuked on appeal. If it was a meritorious case they would never think of this...

Consider this:
Pres Ford pardoned Nixon before he was charged with a crime.

Mr. Trump pardoned Steve Bannon before he was charged with a crime.

Perhaps President Biden can pardon Mr. Trump ?

Jack Smith is illegal.

His position is illegal.

His office is illegal

Merrick Garland created his office and appointed him to the position

That by itself is illegal.

Garland can't create his office or appoint him.

What legal basis do you have for stating that ?
