My favorite way to make a roast is called a Mississippi Roast and it is SOOO good.
3- pound chuck roast
1- ounce packet of dry ranch seasoning mix
1- ounce packet of dry au jus gravy mix
1/2 stick of butter
1/4 cup water
5-6 pepperoncini peppers
Make it all the time and every single time, completely satisfied.

Thanks for the idea and the dish sounds really nice. Took me a bit of time to find those Ranch and au jus powders (in Walmart no less!) because I never buy stuff like that. Plus, had to figure out the peppers but if I don't cook this like NOW, might do it first thing in the morning.
