Ricks?

I had been a VIP at P10 North for awhile until all of the changes. Have stayed away because of all the changes and attempts to profiteer. I always see mention of LS and YR but I rarely see anything about Ricks mentioned. If I remember correctly they had a sectioned off VIP and some dark corners to play. Is it a good choice now that P10 have fallen off so badly? I liked P10 because of its location and the low traffic VIP. Any thoughts on Ricks as an alternative?

If you are a non-smoker (of tobacco), stay away from Rick's!!! It's a smoke den as you will notice as soon as you open the front door. The place is thick with smoke in the air and the stench of smoke in your throat and nose. And the smoke will cling to your hair and clothing long after you have left.

^^^^ This!!!! We won't go there cuz of this. Going here is like licking an ash tray. (used to smoke myself and i've probably done that while drunk once or twice)

@The Diletante - What is your favorite non-smoking club?

Bigpawgfan, my favorite non-smoking club is Yellow Rose. My next two are Landing Strip and P10 - Highland (formerly known as "Sugar's"). In addition to the "no smoking" atmosphere, a gentleman can get laid in all three of those places. The VIP areas of all three are great (very private). I've had vip membership in all three for at least 5 years. (BTW, a VIP at P10 - Highland is also good for P10 - North and Sugar's in San Antonio.)
How much does membership run?

Consequently, I have been able to bargain. For example, at one of these places, when I originally asked a manager (whom I had known for a few years) about yearly membership, I was told $1,200, but he said he would give me a special deal at $600. I immediately countered with "I'll give you 300 cash right now for a yearly membership." The manager quickly looked around and then reached out his hand, and said "ok". That was four years ago (and I've never been asked for a renewal fee).

VIP at p10 nowdays is worthless at any price. You literally get nothing but the ability to sit in that roped off area to the side. There is no other benefit whatsoever. No clue about p10 highland though.

But I frequently score at both the latter two of the threesome. In fact, my only reason for purchasing a VIP at P10 was to get unlimited usage of San Antonio's Sugar's (because I was regularly banging a very hot dancer in that club for over a year).
