Watermarking photos

Have not seen any recent posts about photo theft etc.. but there are some useful programs to protect your photos

Visual Water Mark - its not free but for 20 dollars you can install it on 1 PC, top price is 40 and you can install it on 10 pc's and get a few more fonts and template

Add WaterMark - for Android - FREE! works on phones & Android tablets...

I am sure there are some for Iphone's (have not looked as I do not use Apple products) but protect your images..

Visual Watermark is an excellent program, very user-friendly. I have been watermarking my photos since one of them was lifted by a BP girl a few years back.
I use Gimp.

It is is a free-ware program (basically a very close knock off of photoshop, except the creator(s) have chosen to share it for free!) and there are tutorials for GIMP available on YouTube.

I am aiming to to get LightRoom which is from Adobe but cheaper than their PhotoShop for some more serious editing.

the watermarking programs are very useful in that you can tag them fast without loading up a bigger program.

Visual watermark can also batch tag....
