I know this has been discussed but one question, why don't providers like this? I have access to rooms everywhere and could barter them to providers that travel or just want a room, I know cash is king but a dollar saved is a dollar earned... and I am not talking cheap rooms.
I think it's because it is their form of employment. I cant really barter with my employer. Even in my second job as a contractor, I've been offered barters but turned them down. As soon as you open that door, you could start opening the door to other things. So it's just best not to do it I think.
You would seriously give access to a room you are responsible for to a provider and anyone else she may invite in? Sounds like trouble waiting to happen.
I have had a couple of friends that I have done this for actually, I can put the room in their name and they have to have a card for incidental charges. the couple of providers I have done this with have been great, but have since retired.
