This^^^^^^^and waste of money. There are lots of homeless in Atlantic City, people who arrived, and didn't have money to return home. The stock market became a new gambler's medium last year, people sitting at home with stimulus money. The Robinhood crowd lost lots of money in a Bull market.

Depending on which poker room you play at, the competition can differ massively. For example, Bodog is widely regarded as the fishiest poker room. Now that Bodog Poker has banned the use of live tracking software it has made the room even friendlier to fish. Overall however, while online poker is becoming increasingly more difficult, sports betting has largely remained the same.
I have a friend who works for Treasure Island in Las Vegas.Both my brothers were dealers in Vegas for years. One worked at TI for quite a while.
He has done nearly every position for them.
He does not gamble and says " there is a reason why Las Vegas rebuilds itself every 10-15 years." "The odds are stacked so far against you to lose."
