I traveled to Austin for work and scheduled an appointment for overnight outcall at the Omni downtown. I ordered an Uber to pick up Faith, but she refused and said she preferred to drive (1st flag). I asked for confirmation once she arrived in the lobby so I could transfer payment via Zelle. She said I’d need to make a $200 deposit to confirm the appointment before she would enter the hotel, which I did. (2nd flag)
The transaction showed as pending on my side and she said it didn’t go through. After additional attempts via Zelle and apple pay to get her the deposit, she confirmed receipt. Next she asked for an agency fee of $200 to be transferred to her pimp before she could come in. When I declined, the pimp texted demanding the agency fee and an “age difference fee” to be paid to “avoid bloodshed in my household”.
I found the next day that the multiple attempts to transfer the deposit all posted, totaling more than the quoted $600 rate. I chalked this up to an expensive lesson and moved on. Later that night Faith contacted me, apologized for the pimp, and offers to come by the hotel if I transfer her an additional $75 for a safety kit. (I declined)
I’ve hobbied for a long time now but had stopped posting reviews, let my guard down, and got complacent. This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had and I wanted to share this both as a warning about Faith and her “agency”, as well as a reminder to keep alert and perform your due diligence out there. A costly mistake that I hope you avoid and I won’t make again.
