PayPal

I recently had an appointment who made all clients pay up front throuh paypal. She used this method as a partial screening method in addition to references. She told me it also prevented nc/ns and having large sums of cash in a motel room.

I didn't bother me using this method. It showed up on my credit card statement as HE Enterprises. I'm curious what other people thought about this method of payment?
I believe if paypal confirms the type business that they will cancel her account. Seems like there was a thread on this sometime back.

Not a chance I'd ever do that. Now there's a paper trail, and I go to great lengths to avoid that very thing.

There are many ways to "prepay" but IMO Paypal is the worst. Chargebacks, keeping money, closing accounts. Not worth it if you keep any sum of cash in there. Plus it is linked to BOTH party's real information.

Hey, it was in the fine print, so tough luck!

Green Dot FTW.
I do like the name HE enterprise though.

I always wonder if i can get frequent flyer miles off the hobby in some fashion.

PayPal is owned by Ebay and they are NOT a bank and I've been told that they are not bound by any laws that govern banks, including but not limited to, taking money from your account (which is linked to either a bank account or a credit card) if a dispute is raised and placing a hold on your funds through PayPal.

I detest Paypal these days for just using Ebay I can't begin to imagine using it for any adult services.

I have several issues with using with PayPal most of which have already been stated by others. Prepaying may prevent the client from doing an NC/NS. After all he as already paid for the service. But what about the provider? Aside from protecting her reputation she has no incentive to keep the date. If she is local and does not keep the implied promise then she probably will not last long. But some do not look that far ahead and I do not want to be one of the ones she snags in the meantime. IMO cash is the only way to go.

Paypal - no way would I use that for my hobby. Prepaying - NO way.

When I see escort providers I would not use a credit card. When I see a massage therapist in a business setting I have used credit cards (if the therapist is working somewhere other than a business, I would not use one.
If she gets busted by LE and they want to know who her clients are, all she has to do is whip out her statements. Don't think she wont do it to avoid jail time.
