Seems like everytime I come to Houston I pick the wrong areas to stay in.... is Galleria area convenient? I'll be coming to town soon and want to be close to all the best Houston has to offer!

Galleria area is nice and convenient to most of the general Houston area. Two things, number 1 it may be a bit more expensive than you want to spend and number 2, now that Christmas season is here, the traffic may be murder. What may be a 20 minute drive to a hotel on Sam Houston west and Westheimer/Richmond St. may be an hour or more to the Galleria area.
