My real world work relocating me part time to the Grandview area. Starting in a few weeks!

OP is probably better from a , um, business perspective.
Mainly strip mall , chain restaurant culture though.
Funkier venues like Knuckleheads , Green Lady Lounge and the aforementioned BBs are on the MO side.
Most, if not all, of the BBQ recommendations that are about to deluge this topic will also be in KCMo.
Fortunately, except for rush hour, highway travel is pretty quick around here.
You might consider the Plaza as a middle ground. Both Plaza and OP are 20ish minutes from GV.

They’ve already got me a location. I won’t be entertaining there.
I know about the BBQ IN KC I’ve spent a lot of time there. Steak and lobster are my favorite. I love Hereford House and 801 chophouse, or I previously did.
If I’m eating out.. it’s steak. I love most all live music( no rap) and a good martini, the plaza and just give me anything with history or culture.
