NBA coaches are useless

The best players are always going to win. It doesn't matter who the coach is, unless they are giving negative vibes.

- Michael Jordan was always going to win
- Lebron and Dwaye Wade were always going to win
- Shaq and Kobe were always going to win
- Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, and Klay Thompson are always going to win

Bullshit you need a coach
Great coaches know how to utilize their players. Like Pop for the Spurs or Brad Stevens for the Celtics. Even Carlisle was capable of pulling this off too.
One or two real good players....does not make a team.
They can't excel without the team. They all have to be coached.

This seems like a troll thread
The best coach in the NBA was Chuck Daley. With all the additude on that team he could motivate a team of misfits to win two titles.

Case in point:

1991 to 1993 - Bulls win 3 titles with Michael Jordan
1994 and 1995 - Rockets win 2 titles with Hakeem, absent is Michael Jordan
1996 to 1998 - Bulls win 3 titles with Michael Jordan back

So, did Rudy T. get smarter in 1994 and 1995, and get dumber in 1996 ?
No - the best players won every year

Note: The Rockets could have drafted Michael Jordan and been a legendary team

You think them laker teams would have won without Pat Riley you are crazy. You always need a coach . Kobe and Shaq didn't start winning until Phil got there
Dumb. The worst team or the less talented team loses the game by not adjusting. Who does the adjusting? The coach!!

Maybe in college - but also maybe that is why college coaches have little success in the NBA. It's an entirely different league.

Kinda pointless to debate this topic, dontcha think? Coaches....? jeeeez…….

Bottom line, Who Really Cares? Basketball is still in it's off season and …let's face it....no one truly gives a sh*t about the game until March (college) and May (the association) anyways....the regular season is long and boring (and tv ratings reflect that sentiment, too....check 'em and you'll know it's absolutely true)….

The Sport the masses really cares about officially Kicks Off this evening (Falcons @ Iggles)…..and it will dominate the (football) interest of practically every fan until February 3, 2019.
