If you want a good meal, value priced, try Golden Seafood across the street from the farmers market. One of the best shrimp cocktails in Houston, IMHO.

PAPAS Seafood or Papadeaux is always good. On the less expensive side I always LOVE mambos!
If you are fine with oyster bar, Captain Tom's is a great choice.
The Monument Inn on the Far East side, on the Ship Channel.

If you like nice dining and lobster Mccormick and Schmick’s
Fine Dining Capital Grille, Oceanaire or Steak48 but reservations are needed or takeout
Mid grade Pappadeauxs or Pappas Seafood
On the low end and take out Lotus or LA Crawfish
On the low end and dine in or out Pho and Crab
Bar type place Sams Boat
