ladies, get out your fancy hats~ It's Kentucky Derby day!!

I'm so excited.. I love to watch the horses run, and (secretly hope the one I pick wins) No bets, for me, it is the exhilaration and excitement of the horses.

Am I the only one?

who knows...Maybe one day, I will actually get to go? For now, I will search for my perfect hat/bonnet. lol

I've been to many KY. Derby's. I missed this one. The Oaks the day before has become almost as busy. Louisville really puts on a show all week for this event complete with Steamboat and baloon races leading up to the weekend. In the stands the women really put on a fashion show. In the infield (younger set) the little hotties in their jean shorts aren't bad either.

I have family in Louisville, but have never been. They tell me back in the 70's the big thing was to Staff edit...Forbidden topic...Spacemtn party in the infield.

I'm all ready, let's do this!!
