Hello guy's I will be arriving today and staying in N Alb. Would there be any good restaurants that are recommended. When on the road I get so tired of chains. Plus I live in Dallas and all the chains are there 10 fold. I love to try one of a kind restraunts out on tour. I am not picky and enjoy all types of food.

Hi Sami, Welcome to ABQ. Two of my favorites are the St. Clair Bistro and Winery near Old Town and the Indigo Crow in nearby Corrales. You can't go wrong with either and they are definitely not cookie cutter chains. Have fun and enjoy your stay in "the Q" :-)

Depends on what you desire of course, but Nick&Jimmy's at i25 and Jefferson ain't bad. Really nice is Bien Shur on the ninth floor of Sandia Casino. Azuma on San Mateo has good sushi. Trombinos off San Mateo on Academy for Italian. Bon apetit!

And there is always the Owl Cafe on I40. We always have to eat there for lunch when we go to Albuquerque.
Sadie's is my favorite Mexican place, Taj Mahal for Indian, Weck's for breakfast or lunch, and Flying Star for dessert. Enjoy your visit!

I forgot about Sadie's.... the restaurant in the Santa Ana Star Casino is great! We ate breakfast at Weck's for the first time this last trip and the amount of food is incredible! And it's very good as well.

There are no better ear warmers than a nice pair of thighs on my ears. Seems to warm me right up. What do you think Sami? How are your ear warmers?
