I like what Stephen Hawkins had to say about other planets and extra terrestials that might happen to visit us. "What makes you think they would be friendly"?

Why wouldn't they be friendly? If they are that far advanced, they will have survived the savage era that we are currently in. I would expect them to be explorers, not conquerors.
