Esp in Dallas..
Documents show Backpage.com took in $50 million in ads between 2013 and 2015.
The state said it’s in the process of shutting down the website.Get ready to see a flood of both talent and pimps.
The investigation was sparked by reports from media, law enforcement agencies, and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).
In addition to NCMEC, other agencies assisting in the investigation include the Texas Attorney General’s office, the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, the Contra Costa District Attorney’s Office, the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Human Trafficking Taskforce, the Long Beach Police Department, the Mesa Police Department, the Rocklin Police Department, the Napa Police Department, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and the U.S. Department of Justice.Investigations of this magnitude cost a lot of money and resources. AG's at this level typically don't file charges unless they're sure that they can win.
Investigations of this magnitude cost a lot of money and resources. AG's at this level typically don't file charges unless they're sure that they can win.I respectfully disagree. These specific sites (redbook, backpage) are being targeted because of underage prostitution and forced prostitution. Neither of which we tolerate AT ALL on this site.
Don't kid yourself, ECCIE is living on borrowed time. Originally Posted by johnny_rocketz
