Playlist During Hot Session

I recently had a session in which the gentlemen played his music while we got hot and nasty. It was kind of a world music type playlist that I'd never listen to in daily life, but for some reason during the 'do it was AWESOME!

I want to play that playlist all the time now, but I'm not sure how other people would take it. How do you guys feel about music during a sesh? Do you expect it to be specific to what you like (i.e. would you like your preferences to be played?) or are you interested in hearing things you wouldn't normally listen to?

*Also, I've got some new pics in my showcase! Take a look (it's in a book...reading rainbooowwwww ...sorry I had to do it lol)
I might know what you are talking about lol
lollll I dare say you DO know

I would consider myself to be very open minded with music. I really listen to most everything from classical to rock to jazz to blues to heavy metal and even gregorian chant. I'm currently into some of the following...

Icon for Hire
Stitched up Heart
Amaranthe
Cirque du Solei (most of their soundtracks are just awesome)
Pentatonix
Judith de los Santos
Lindsey Stirling
Taylor Davis
Lacuna Coil
Wynton Marsalis
Dizzy Gillespie
Herbie Hancock and the Tijuana Brass

Country and Rap are really the only music types I'm not into but I did like Linkin Park and Clawfinger. And Icon for Hire has some rap type of stuff so maybe metal rap...very iffy though.

As far as during a session. I'm usually down for just about anything. As long as it's in the background and doesn't overshadow conversation or any "in the moment" verbalization.

Would love some examples of the music you are referring to. Always love to check out potentially new stuff.

Recently I started playing music during sessions. My playlists are curated based on my tastes as I assume if someone is intrigued enough to set a date with me, they'll probably be open to the music I like.

John Coltrane, Prince, Betty Davis, Janet Jackson, and Teena Marie are just some of the artists I like getting down to.

I love to play jazz, just a smooth playlist of jazz or piano music. Either one works for me instrumentals are the best. That way the two of you can reminisce about what the song is without actually hearing the song except as an instrumental.

Ms. Katana, since yours asking...how about letting R. Kelly's "12 Play" album resonate in the background when next we meet.
