Syracuse Hotels?

Traveling to Syracuse next weekend and still have to book my hotel. Planning on making it my first dip into the hobby.

Anyone have any suggestions on which ones to use and which ones to stay away from.

Normally I stay in Carrier Circle when I am in town but I have heard they don't have the best rep.

Looking for something cheaper but still nice (Crest Hill Suites is where I have stayed a few times).

Priceline it and pick a 2.5+ star hotel so you wont land with the Red Roof Inn. ha ha.

Carrier Circle is just fine. There is a couple by the airport. Holiday Inn and I think its a Crestwood Suites. 7th North too.

Carrier circle isn't bad. Just pick. Better quality place. They patrol the small low fee hotels like motel 6 and others like it regularly. But I have never seen one in the higher end hotels.
