Fort Worth Main St. Arts Festival (4/14-17)

For those of you not in the know, this is one of the coolest events in Funky Fort Worth. It starts today, and if the weather cooperates, downtown will be packed. Admission is free, and you can avoid traffic by taking the TRE train into downtown.

Downtown FW is beautiful, and this festival shows it off quite well. Hope to see some of you ladies in your short spring dresses strutting down the boulevard
I've always wanted to go to this. Can't make it this year unfortunately. Hopefully next year.

We're going...thanks for the info on the TRE. Would you know the closest or best station to leave from? We'll be coming from Dallas.

Saw on the news this festival is fairly prestigious. Unlike the Deep Ellum Arts Festival, lol.

There is a downtown intermodal station about two blocks from Main Street. The link above has a few more details.

It does look interesting and I would like to go, but I'll be stuck at work all weekend.

It is not my scene but I go with the s.o every year, but admit it is kewl...good.to get a break from all of this country rodeo stuff
