Well, somebody leaked his retirement. But Justice Breyer hasn’t put out HIS official statement yet. You would think Bribes would have given Breyer the courtesy of making this announcement on his own. The way he wanted to. Oh well. Maybe Bribes will throw an ice cream party for him.

Testing whether a Republican Senator will vote against a Black female prior to the mid terms will put one arrow in that empty quiver but does shoring up the Black vote get them where they need to be, doubt it as this will not change the ideological make-up on the court. I'm not making a prediction about whether Biden will name a replacement for Justice Breyer and get his nomination through the Senate successfully. I would, however, point out that the retirement puts the makeup of the Supreme Court in jeopardy. Biden has not had much success, administratively and one must wonder (from a devolution standpoint) if Trump intends to return before a successor can be approved.
