hotel suggestions...

Hi everyone.
I have a traveling provider stopping in town for one night later this month and needs a nice hotel, at least 3 stars near the airport.
Can anyone recommend any hotels that they have used or are familar with that meet those specs.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How much does she want to spend?

Hopefully some of the ladies will weigh in with their experience, but when I've been traveling (and hobbying) on the road I've never been disappointed by Priceline. She might try that; I'm sure it'll serve up a decent 3 star property near the airport (Priceline allows you to specify star ratings and geographical areas when you search).

use priceline or hotwire.....express deals are great for that area
It is not so much a price thing as just getting a nice hotel near airport that she knows she won't have any problems with(LE, etc).

All help is greatly appreciated.

The Crown Plaza and Embassy Suites at Lindberg and 70 are nice places and away from the airport a bit but still close enough to be "airport" hotels. Sometimes the rates there are pretty reasonable.

Now, LE issues aren't the kind of thing that a commercial website would disclose, of course. That's the kind of intel your friend would need to get through a hobby board or other provider resource.

I would discourage mentioning specific hotels openly on the board. This sort of thing would be best to communicate via PM.
Thank you all for your suggestions, really appreciate everyones help.
I agree with Bluffcityguy. I always have great luck with priceline in that area of STL.
Stay out of Bridgeton, St Charles, Hazelwood and Maryland Heights/Westport.

There are a few hotels that meet her criteria not in those areas.
I have not used priceline, I think its time I put it into consideration!
So... not to hyjack the thread but WHERE is Hoe Row? Im visiting and want to stay where ALL the guys like the Pussy Slingers to be... PM me too!
Airport area is popular
