Most pimps at least ones I knew came from the (Staff edit) its where they got the money to provide houses in nicer areas, expensive hotels and introduce them to higher end clients. Since the drug game is no longer a lucrative source of money it by effect killed pimping. Plus at least here pimps only recruit (Staff edit) attracts the lowest of society on both ends. 2ndly the internet women can just post their own adds now.

This is not a new phenomenal, street level pimping has been around for as long as I can remember (70yrs). Technology has taken the meet on the street element out of it but you still have the same like minded riff raff behind the scenes.
