Does Anyone Know Where in Houston I Should Go That Will Be Safe And Lucrative

Im visiting dallas but i've never been. where can i go get a hotel room, where i'll be safe and it'll be lucrative. areas are fine or specific hotels are fine. Also where is more lucrative then others and where should i avoid.
