Take your vehicle to the dealer. Show your findings from google. You may want to be prepared to contact the BBB. If your findings are true, you may be able to go through the Lemon-Law.

If it shows up on google as recurring it may be under a factory recall. If I remember GM just had a list of recalls come out about 6 months ago. Bad design, faulty parts, etc... Keep in the mind that a dealership is motivated to assist you because you are a potential customer for oil changes, future repair work and future car purchases. If that does not help, then apply for lemon law car protection.
