does the tampa/orlando thread cover the daytona beach area? or where would i post for the daytona area?

Not assigned to this area, but it would be a 50/50 split between Tampa/Orlando or either Jacksonville. Depending on the number of weekly updates you have currently have available, perhaps both areas?
