Hey yall I will be arriving sometime after the 19th of this month to your beautiful sunny state. I am actually new to the area so not to sure where I should be staying or even staying AWAY! I have heard that the airport area is too far for a lot of Orlando lovers. So here I am asking you where to stay and where to NOT stay. I do not want to be in any bad areas of Orlando!

Airport area is not bad for most of us. It is far enough out of the way to not run the risk of being seen (if that is a concern) but not too far or too crowded. I personally hate the areas down by the attractions and I-Drive... If I never have to get on I-Drive again, I will be happy. I think Altamonte Springs is not a bad area, maybe Maitland on the west side of I-4.
In short, airport area is fine with this dude, I-Drive and attractions are out. But that is just one man's opinion and worth what you paid for it.
