Have you ever almost let it slip?

Anyone here almost let it slip to someone you know that you hobby/provide? A friend of mine was wanting to see my inactive online dating profile in the hopes of sprucing it up and sending me back out there. I told her I'd copy it and email it her. While composing the email I clicked on the attachment I loaded to make sure all was ok. When I did I noticed in the background of the image that I had an eccie tab open. Holy shit, had I not checked the attachment I would have sent this on to my friend. Another time me and a few coworkers were giving a younger coworker ideas for his prom and who he should take. Someone brought up hiring a hooker to which I almost let the phrase "incall" slip out of my mouth.

Anyone ever have any close calls before? Do tell.

Loose lips sink ships... You, my friend, may not be qualified to be a hobbiest
Funny you should say that... I have a friend that very openly hobbies. We hang out at his office to the point that its a bit like the Bada Bing Club from the Sopranos only there are no strippers that work there. Well, at least not full-time. It's a very unusual environment in that there is open talk about strippers, escorts and rub and & tug joints all the time no matter who is around male or female. Occasionally the ladies come around at lunch time amd we get a little show. The girls in the office think its funny. Anyway, just this past Friday he was showing some pictures on his phone of a provider that he'd had at his house the night before and I called her by name as I had seen her before. He caught it immediately and said "I knew it!" Now he wants to set up a double date so we can switch back and forth. I'm a little apprehensive about it. I've known this guy since we were in our teens (40's now) and it would be like switching off win my brother! So far, he is respecting the fact that I don't want everyone to know about my hobby life and I think he'll continue to do so.

No slippage here. Taintra does not allow slippage. Remember, taint is the key to knowledge.

The page itself was hidden from full view but if you looked at the top of the screen you could see the tab "ECCIE Worldwide". The verbal slip I was able to save myself, managed to turn "incall" into "in your house" but more like "inc...your house". No one caught, if they had believe me they would have brought it up.

I sometimes have to think hard before introducing myself to someone, saying Laura Lynn always wants to pop out. And I've accidently gave my hobby number to someone, instead of my real number.

rc83 that was a close one but funny..LOL

As for me, I am pretty much an open book to those who know me. It is what it is and as long as I have not let it effect me as a person, I am not looked down upon.

Now on the other hand, I was pumping gas one time and was approached by a nice looking man in business suit beside me and asked if I was working..LOL WTF. Is it that obvious. I laughed and played it off with a simple. Working? What do you mean. He was so embarrassed, I can feel the heat coming from his cheeks. I do not openly share my naughty side, but it is not because I am ashamed at all. I just believe there is a time and place for everything.

Let it slip? Heck, I was years into the hobby before I could halfway bring myself to believe that I was actually having sex with real live women. Had to tell other people about my activities, basically so they could pinch me and assure me I wasn't dreaming.
There are married guys here and their wives know about their hobbying and accept it. Not mine, tho. And if you guys slip me a Benjamin I won't say who you are, HA HA HA HAAAAA!!!!
When I first started I had to be very careful not to let me RW name slip, I guess I had to learn to adopt the hobby persona
