Can't attach a file??

So I was trying to attach a photo and it kept saying I've exceeded my space limit and that I needed to delete some of my old attachments, which I did, and yet I am still getting the same error message every time I have tried to post a photo? What gives

It's better to use an online image host. I like http://m.imgur.com/ they even give the bbcode to insert the image in a post.
