been having some fun reading craiglist personals (W4M), and i notice in almost all of them they just want your phone #. some send u to other websites where you "verify" your age by putting in credit card info!

-increase traffic to their website(mostly dating)
-get cc info like you said
-some version of the african money scam
-bank acct phishing

Also. It is so bad that the bots will flag any message not in their list and so you cannot post a message anymore.
