Showcases

Just wondering why so many of the ladies of D&T's do not use the My Showcase feature of the site?

If there is a problem with it, I'm sure T and B would like to hear about it. Or maybe it's just a personal preference.

How does one gain access to the Showcase feature? I don't see anywhere in my user panel where to upload a personal showcase.

Hit, "User CP"

Under

"Your Control Panel" (left hand side), you'll see "My Showcase", hit "Manage Showcase"


Mr. Bull: I think some of the multi-choices are limiting and sometimes there should be a choice for "No answer". Also, some of us really don't use the boards to meet dates, we depend on advertising for that. Many ladies just want to chat on the forum, and if something comes about on it's own that's just an unexpected bonus. So, they may not feel the urge to market as strongly.

I think it's a neat feature, and it would be fun for the boys to have too - obviously different fields to fill out.

Also, this room being new to many, I think there are ladies and gents watching to see how the atmosphere evolves over time, to decide what their level of participation will be. There are inflammatory mean spirited boards like "TERB" and some will even say "TER", and others, that most ladies steer away from despite the active male participation.

You have to have "Verified Provider" status in the system to have the showcase option. Their should be a sticky at the top of your local provider ads forum with instructions on how to get your status changed. If you need any assistance any of the mods would be glad to help. They are all doing a great job on this site.

Again, great feature! The web dork in me likes it. I think with some additions it would really give women of all approaches a neat way to provide basic information. The form is very TER like, but at least ladies get control of what is being put up. I'm also impressed by the number of pictures it lets you put up.

Suggestion:

For "Location", there should be a choice for "Outside the USA". I'm in Toronto.

I think location can be refined further. A field for "Cities Frequently Visited" would be pretty cool for those of us who have certain cities that we go back to often.

A check box for "International Companion" would be great for ladies who will travel to anywhere you are.

The form is very TER like, but at least ladies get control of what is being put up.

It would be nice to have another choice for GROOMING.
Call it "half & half" or "half natural". In the biography part, I clarified my grooming technique so folks weren't misled from the multiple choice they gave me. Perhaps that's where you can mention about being in Toronto also Lauren.

I second another addition for LOCATION.
If you could add one called "Touring" it would be nice.
