Hello all, I am a "retired" hobbiest but still like visiting the boards and seeing whats going on in the hobby world. I was in the hobby from 00-04. Anyway, I`m a half ass poet and wrote this poem about the hobby. Tell me what you think?
AVOCATION
People without faces
The hunt for the perfect illusion
A risk of shame
The war between the flesh and soul
Being held captive by the allurement
A strict code of secrecy
The enticement of forbidden fruit
A stranger behind the door
The exhilaration of the endeavor
A descending wake
Reiterating the madness
