The Origins of Religion vs Your Faith

Mr. Bill's Avatar
Does anyone know the origins of religion?

Perhaps Christianity and other organized religions are an astro-theology that can be described as the reverence for and personification of the sun, moon, earth, planets, stars and constellations, as well as other celestial bodies and natural phenomena.

Watch the video and decide for yourself.

I may watch the video at some point in time.

History and origins become more blurred as time passes. In fact the recollection in passing from the first teller of the event to the second will result in changes that are significant. In the end can we believe anything without faith.

You really have to watch the video to gain a new perspective. It's only about 20 minutes long. Check it out ...it's based on facts ...and see what people are actually worshipping.

There was only one Jesus. Even in the Bible, it says that there would be many imitators and fakes. There is written evidence of his existence from officials in historical documents (and some of their personal papers, too)who hated him and thought he wasn't the Son of God. All i had to do was look it up. Zeitgeist had me fooled for a few days. "There is nothing new under the sun.". Or son if you listen to that liar Jordan Maxwell...aka Russell Pines.

I haven't seen the video, but I'm guessing it says that religions are variations on Sun worship. I've heard some compelling cases for that. I think there is more to it, but that makes sense.

There are two men standing on the corner ...one says he can, the other says he can't ...according to their individual beliefs, both men are correct.

I'll never forget old whatshisname who said, "If God didn't exist, mankind would have to invent him." The original "chicken or the egg" dilemma. The human race, upon gaining cognition, has always tried to make sense of life its own self.

Of course, if one goes the anti-literal, allegorical route.....too many things might be possible?
I don't want my GOD to live in my head. He lives in my heart and soul.
