Blue Paradise vs Blackbeards

I've never been to DR. I would be going by myself. For those who have been to both, which place would be better for a DR newbie? What are the pros and cons of each place?

Well crap. Please delete. While researching, I see that I asked this same question about 1.5 years ago and got some good information. However, has anything changed since then?

Not much has changed, Blue Paradise is still over $1000US/night all inclusive where BB is about &75/night for hotel & around $40-45/1-2hrs Short time or $75US all night. Still think the better deal is BB. Blue Paradise has better facilities & slightly better girls, but quality of girls at BB is not too much behind for much cheaper. BB has a restaurant on site & there are plenty of other options for eating within walking distance of the hotel for cheap. Glad to see the international site is up again.
