Anyone go hear Rush last night?
I was there. Probably the 10th-12th time I've seen them, starting in 1981.
Something kinda stood out--I didn't think the sound was as good as usual. These guys are geniuses in crafting their sound. I was surprised it wasn't perfect. Maybe they need a different engineer running the mixing board.
Interesting format of the concert. I won't spoil it in case someone is seeing them in another town.
I went to the concert and thought it was very good... I have only seen them twice before and was not as familiar with the songs in Set 1.. When they hit Roll the Bones, I was good from then on...
I was in a Suite, so can't comment too much on sound, but I did notice a few things... When Alex Lifeson would change guitars, I didn't notice much difference in his sound... Also, they pumped in crowd noise...
The videos were funny...
But hey, Geddy Lee was happy to be in Houston... Oh, wait, this is Dallas...
