Ask anyone working in a diverse school these days about discipline, and they might admit to you that they have a program in place to reduce the number of African Americans who receive "disproportionate punishment" as a result of a racist system. No chance that African Americans are any different (except, obviously, when it is a good difference) than any other group of children, and possibly act out more often. (Like the Jewish kids at New Trier High School are a discipline problem..lol)
Since AA children cannot possibly act out more than any other group, teachers are not allowed to send more than a certain proportion of AA students to the Principal's office for discipline, and the Principal cannot refer a disproportionate amount of AA kids to the disciplinary school. So, they basically act out with no punishment, unless it is highly severe. Cussing out the teacher and not doing homework doesn't merit discipline.
It must be hell trying to teach those kids, or going to school with AA kids who know they can push whitey around in the hall and get away with it!
Anyway, the statistics are padded and everyone congratulates themselves on their terrific progress, even if it is also a big fat fake.
