The debt has been caused by 60 years of social welfare programs paying deadbeats to have more kids and buy Cadillacs, giving them a free place to live, free medical care, buying their votes, bribing their representatives, etc.

Spending on the military, while excessive, does allow us to breathe somewhat free air, though it could be a lot more free if all the liberals would leave the country so we could further improve it.

While I do not like paying interest, that is a stimulus of its own for the economy. Did they teach economics at Cougar High, beyond home economics?

We need to stop letting politicians distract us with issues. Make them fix entitlements.

Half the debt is because of one man...Obama. If your old girlfriend ran up your credit cards before dumping your ass, you'd blame the new girlfriend f o r your debt?

The truth is, nobody really gives a crap about the "national debt". The number is so huge, it's almost become meaningless.

We should care, but since it really doesn't affect us at the moment, it's easy to ignore.

I heard on the news this morning that 55 percent of all American Housholds are receiving some type of Government assistance. Do you think that has anything to do with it?

During the 2016 presidential campaign, Republican candidate Donald Trump promised he would eliminate the nation’s debt in eight years. Instead, his budgets would add $8.3 trillion in four years. It would increase the U.S. debt to $25 trillion.

The girlfriend before Obama (Bush) to continue with your analogy left lost her job and the new girlfriend gave a pile of money to help her get back on her feet....unfortunately Obama kept the expensive habits of all your old girlfriends, which was spending a pile on their paranoid obsession with defense

It seems you newest girlfriend has even a bigger obsession with spending while cutting her own income...which is ignorant as fuck.
Well, it looks like the Country is going to be in debt no matter who is in office.

So ask yourself. Would you rather have a massive debt an be paying high taxes, or have a massive debt and be paying lower taxes?
