Spas - To post or not to post. That is the question?

Ok. I don't post regularly. Most of my hobbying consists of seeing a retired provider and seeing a lmt that insists "I'm the only one" and my freindship with both ladies prevludes me from posting about them.

But sometimes an itch must be scratched.

My last post was about Eon Spa. I had a GREAT time there and posted about it. A few weeks later they shut down.

Did my post cause this? I'm genuinely afraid it did and I feel bad about it because I was treated wonderfully.

Eccie has a section for spas. Most don't hang LMT licenses so it isn't against the rules to post.

But what good is posting there if it just shuts them down?

If I need a spa experience I tend to frequent those in north Houston where they appear to be least tolerated.

What are your thoughts about posting about spas?
I highly doubt that your post had anything to do with them shutting down... People post about spas all the time, and spas get raided and shut down all the time.. It is probably pure coincidence, rest easy (:
Yes, your post shut them down. You should find the ladies who used to work there and give them each $20,000 for their troubles.

There's never been any evidence that anything said or done here has led to anything getting closed down...sucking dick for money gets them closed down...

Post for what ever reason makes you happy. It's not like every spa that wasn't posted about that day had zero clients. I'm betting reviews happen on only 1% of all visits. The cops know how to find every spa in town. They just don't have the man power to go after all of them and they know they are like roaches. Stomp on one and another two pop up.
When you do a review, while it may attract the attention of L E

Your review CERTAINLY attracts the attention of the licensing authority.

The licensing authority can administratively punish. Such as nitpicking rules with fines and such. Not only is the the individual L M T license in jeopardy, the Massage Establishment license also is in jeopardy. I suspect the licensing authority can revoke licenses very easily.

It is illegal to advertize massages without a license-- very easy pickings for L E
And if there IS a license then it is very easy for the licensing authority to punish such establishments.

So from the bottom of my heart I thank you for your review

On a serious note, I never really pay attention to stickies, but just the other day I ran across the appearance thread from 2011. I couldn't believe that was yours. You used whole paragraphs and while it was critical, it was actually a really useful post. Was you descent to a state of constant bitterness and one liners like a cliff, or more of a gradual decline?

If you liked EON so much you should go to YOUNG on Bammel, the lady there told me that they had been at the EON. My experience was AWFUL ck the review. just my 2 cents.

All Spa's get checked by Ellie on a periodic basis. Do postings raise flags? I am certain they do. But I know on owner of a legit Spa that happens to employee Asian (licensed) Therapists. They have been open about a year and a half and Ellie paid them a visit to make sure licenses were posted, etc.

I go to Bellaire about every other Sunday for foot massages for 18-20 bucks per hour. One spa told me that Ellie came in the other day and ticketed 2 therapists because they didn't have licenses posted. Sucking dick isn't always to criteria for visits and shutdowns.

I went to EON when it was ONE (nice change of letters on the sign) when it first opened. The girls and service there was average to mediocre (for me) at best. But I stopped going after the first couple of months because I knew it would be on the radar very quickly. I am actually surprised it was open for as long as it was.
