Happy Presidents Day!

Schools are out(shit!), sales are big and a lot of folks have the day off. I was a little bored this morning so I scrounged up a few fun facts about some the 46 that have lead our country. This isn't an all inclusive list just a few facts I could rustle up between 5 year old son declaring there's not enough marshmallows in his Lucky Charms(yep he poured them all out and counted them!) and my twelve year daughter telling me she's literally going to die if we don't get Chick-fil-a breakfast.

So yeah here you go....and please feel free to add anymore fun facts!

John Adams and Thomas Jefferson died on the same day, July 4, 1826, the 50th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence (that's taking hanging with a bro a little to far.)

James Madison was our smallest president stood at 5’4″ and weighed around 100 pounds. (Yep, he was a spinner)

Martin Van Buren holds the title of the first president to be born in the U.S. (Damn immigrants taking all the good jobs)

William Henry Harrison gave the longest inauguration speech ever (8,445 words over 90 minutes) on a wet, cold day in 1841. He fell ill soon thereafter and died 33 days into his presidency. ( Hey Bill it's cold and rainy cut it short. "What! A little cold wet rain never hurt anyone")

Gerald R. Ford is the only president to never be elected by the voting public topresident or vice president (Vice President Agnew and President Nixon both "resigned")

Jimmy Carter was quoted in Playboy as saying “I’ve looked on a lot of women with lust. I’ve committed adultery in my heart many times. This is something that God recognizes I will do—and I have done it—and God forgives me for it.” (I feel ya Jimmy, I feel ya)
