Has anyone tested the pm system when replying to pms?
Let’s say I send a message to someone and they reply, in the box their previous message is splayed out when I want to reply to which It appears I can edit when sending them a reply back. That seems concerning if someone wants to type in anything that the original message did not contain. The ramifications could be “showing” someone a pm that was edited to say something the sender did not type and potentially add anything in the message.
I have not tested it, but I got a message from someone that has a handle from 2014 with 2 posts total and no reviews. I answered the question but started to wonder if there was something more to it. Odd things have happened in the past. I’m not accusing anyone but I’m just curious if anyone has tested out the pm system to see if something like that is even possible. Worst case scenario, they edit a pm that makes it look like I was trashing a lady, but the problem would be that I never did, but editing a pm could make it seem as if I did.
