Looking to visit Dallas and seeking advice

I was planing a trip to Dallas and wanted to know where would be a good place to stay and places to avoid. I apologize if this is the wrong forum!

The best place in Dallas is North Dallas by the Galleria..............The worst places are Irving and South Dallas

Galleria area of North Dallas. Try to pick a place that has easy in and out access. Upscale hotels can sometimes have to many curious eyes. Try to book some business before you arrive.
