Depends on what part of town you're in. Tons of stuff downtown (The Esquire Tavern, Zinc Bistro, 1K more).
My favorite semi-high-end Mexican is El Mirasol at Military and Wurzbach. Sit at the bar and get the Chispas (actually everything they do is great).
San Antonio is a great place to eat and drink. Hope you have fun.
