Lowes in euless. No tax free holiday there

I wanted to replace a ceiling fan and save a few $ in the process. Picked out the fan I wanted (that was on sale . and went to self checkout. It rang up nearly $12 in tax. I called for assistance and she said she needed mgnt approval to override the tax. I waited about ten minutes and told her to cancel and I would go to Home Depot down the street.

It's not just the money I should have saved....I just didn't want Loews to put the taxes they wanted me to pay in their corporate greedy pockets

a friend of mine works at that Home Depot.. maybe he waited on you? did you get tax satisfaction there?

FWIW, that friend has no idea I have enjoyed several ladies at that motel across the parking lot.
