Barack Obama to hail himself as the new Franklin D. Roosevelt

Wow! This guy truly is pathologically narcissistic! All of the sudden, Romney is starting to look good again.

From the speech:

Over the next few years, big decisions will be made in Washington, on jobs and the economy; taxes and deficits; energy and education; war and peace – decisions that will have a huge impact on our lives and our children’s lives for decades to come.

'I won’t pretend the path I’m offering is quick or easy. I never have. You didn’t elect me to tell you what you wanted to hear. You elected me to tell you the truth.

'And the truth is, it will take more than a few years for us to solve challenges that have built up over decades. It will require common effort, shared responsibility, and the kind of bold, persistent experimentation that Franklin Roosevelt pursued during the only crisis worse than this one.

I still remember all the lies you told us last time to get elected. Nothing has changed to make me think you are telling the truth now.

So based on your logic, Romney seems to have compared himself to Truman and Reagan.

"ROMNEY: We will honor America's Democratic ideals because
a free world is a more peaceful world. This is the bipartisan
foreign legacy of Truman and Reagan, and under presidency we
will return to it once again."

But you'll say "that's different" somehow.

Because you're stupid.
This one is so stupid, I can't formulate a comment....other than to say...so what if he is comparing himself to FDR? I'm sure BOG and the rest of the crazies hate FDR. He started that whole socialist safety net stuff and was a commie socialist himself according to GOP dictates. So? More of the same, more reasons for the nuts to hate Obama and attack him.

If, God forbid, Obama is re-elected, his economic policies will prevent any chance of a recovery, the same way FDR's Keynesian polices kept us from recovering much more quickly from the depression.

Obama is very similar to FDR; that's not a good thing.

With only 5 posts in between.

Pretty much a microcosm.
