OP, wrt your specific request to “delete” your account, are you asking for that specific action because you’ve seen dozens of other men make the same request in recent days? Or do you have information that leads you to believe that staff will go to the effort of removing all trace of you from this site?

There have always been two choices when you want to leave here: having your account disabled, or if you’ve experienced a security breach, having your account “guested”. Neither of those erases your posting history.

I’m curious what dozens of guys know that I’m missing. It strikes me that we’ve got a bunch of lemmings following each other off the cliff, but maybe I missed the memo that states you have to request an account deletion to avoid disaster.
