when one looks at the Obstruction of Justice section, it is very negative in tone.

Since Meuler couldn't nail him on the russian collusion/conspiracy angle.

he left open the obstruction of justice charge which he didn't accuse nor exonerate turmp.

The Mueller's report left that for Congress to decide on that issue.

[W]e concluded that Congress has the authority to prohibit a president’s corrupt use of his authority in order to protect the integrity of the administration of justice . . . The conclusion that Congress may apply the obstruction laws to the president’s corrupt exercise of the powers of office accords with our constitutional system of checks and balances and the principle that no person is above the law.” (Page 8)

I expect the freshman and the senile to complain but most of the democrats want to keep their positions.

I voted yes.
Your poll question is the problem. The HOR already voted on a resolution to impeach President Trump two years ago. It failed. My guess they will vote on another resolution to impeach him. Pelosi will privately not like it and it will fail. Barely.

There are too many "Blue Dog" Democrats who know they won't get re-elected if they vote yes.

Pelosi is just barely hanging on.

the echo chamber (the force) is very strong in the Democratic party. it will be hard for them to resist voting yes to impeach trump.

the fact is .. the dems are between a rock and a hard place on how to run against Trump in 2020.

they have little real hardship to speak of, there is no economic collapse or markets failure. Are there millions suffering in the streets due to Trump's policies?

open borders? yeah that's great platform! the majority of people easily oppose open borders.

so tell me. what would you run on to beat Trump? Socialism?

I’m hoping they try it.

I don’t think they will

They’ll just stay hysterical about everything.
I voted yes because the ruling Triumvirate of Omar, Taliz, and Ocasio Cortez will simply threaten to rally their minions and “primary” any Democrat that opposes impeachment.

Including Nancy Peloci.
